Cookie Policy
Which cookies this website uses, why they are used, how long they last, and how you can change your mind.
Last updated: 16 August 2026
Note for Dale-Harris & Co: the table below lists the cookies this concept build actually sets. If analytics or marketing tools are added at launch, each must be added to the table with its provider, purpose and duration before going live. Placeholder rows are marked [TO CONFIRM].
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognise your device, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used. Similar technologies, including local storage and pixels, are covered by this policy and are referred to collectively as “cookies”.
2. Our legal basis
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 and the UK GDPR, we may place cookies that are strictly necessary for the operation of the website without your consent. All other cookies — including analytics and marketing cookies — are placed only where you have given consent through our cookie banner. You may withdraw consent at any time.
3. Cookies used on this website
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| dh_cookie_consent | Strictly necessary | Records your cookie preference so the banner is not shown on every page | 12 months |
| dh_notice_dismissed | Strictly necessary | Records that you have dismissed the site notice banner | Session |
| [TO CONFIRM] | Analytics | To be completed if a web analytics tool is added at launch | [TO CONFIRM] |
| [TO CONFIRM] | Marketing | To be completed if advertising or remarketing tools are added at launch | [TO CONFIRM] |
4. Third-party content
This website embeds a map from OpenStreetMap and loads typefaces from Google Fonts. When those resources load, your IP address is necessarily disclosed to the relevant provider in order to deliver the content. Neither is used by us to track you across websites. If you would prefer these not to load, most browsers allow third-party content to be blocked, though the map will not display.
5. Managing cookies
You can change your preference at any time by clearing the cookies for this site in your browser, which will cause the consent banner to be shown again. All major browsers also allow you to block or delete cookies through their settings, and to browse in a private mode that discards them at the end of the session. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how parts of this site function.
Further independent guidance is available from the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
6. Changes
We will update this policy whenever the cookies we use change, and will publish the revised version on this page.
